Je m’apelle Franc. Bistro Franc. Et j’habite dans la rue Hanover, Liverpool.
This is how far my french would go, just about to get a sentence out of me when it comes to a conversation.
However the struggle doesn’t apply when it comes to food. At least Bistro Franc made it so easy for The Travel Blog team, the minute we arrived.
First of all, had no idea this venue is so spacious. I mean.. plenty of space for any ocassion you can think of!
Just a few minutes after we arrived, venue was easily getting busier. Good job we ordered our brunch already,ay?
And one thing I have noticed, there is an open kitchen, food cooked from scratch. Which is always a good sign!
Plenty of options to choose from the menu. Our choice was brunch related so Le ‘Lunch Rapide’ sounded perfect!
Had a starter and a main. Even tho I wanted to fit a dessert in my belly but had no room left..
You’ll probably think ‘Will need some glasses to find the food on my plate’ when it comes to french food (portion wise), generally speaking.
Don’t worry..this is not the case! Portions came in a decent size and were quite filling.
I loved my starter! Goat cheese mousse served on a croute.. uhm uhm uhm!
And the presentation of each dish.. very frenchy, I’d say!
The mains were also delish!
Both Linguine pasta and the chargrilled bacon chop – well cooked and tasty!
Their menu is not the same every day, by the way! What I did not mention so far is that Bistro Franc is a family owened venue (I thought it’s still part of a chain).
And to me personally, that means more attention to details, better food and something new all the time.
Such as the menu – it changes all the time.
Pop in and say Bonjour, staff is very welcoming and will look after you!
Merci beaucoup Bistro Franc, a bientot!
